Title: Perfect Strangers
Author:
[Unknown site tag][personal profile] imaginethetruth (M. Willoughby)
Fandom: Canadian Actor RPF
Characters/Pairings: CKR/OFC with mentions of CKR/HD
Rating/Warnings: Gen
Disclaimer: None of the events depicted are real and I am in no way affiliated with CKR or anybody else in this story with the exception of Sienna, who is based off of a person I know. I have her permission to post this.
Summary: While in Toronto, Callum contemplates his existence, angst ensues, and he eventually finds aid and insight in the most unlikely person imaginable.
Author’s Notes: I originally wrote this story for a friend, a few years back. She's never liked CKR and couldn't understand what I could possibly see in him. In an attempt to change her mind, I wrote her this. Sienna is loosely based off of this same friend, and it was really fun writing a character with which I am personally acquainted. Recently I came back to this story, edited it a bit, and I'm using this as my first comeback fic after a long hiatus. I hope you enjoy reading this, as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Title: Completely Consumed
Author:  [personal profile] imaginethetruth   [M. Willoughby]
Fandom: Canadian Actor RPF
Pairing: CKR/HD (and some Noel Baker! heh)
Rating/Warnings: PG-13 for language and some sexual content
Disclaimer: All events depicted are fictitious. No matter how much I wish they weren't. Title from “Marigold” by the Headstones!
Summary: Set during the HCL era. Noel's a dink, but a dink with some good ideas.
Author's Notes: I read Hard Core Road Show the other day...and the wheels just started turning. Behold the product! I am considering turning this into something longer.

Title: Snow Falling In Chicago
Author: [personal profile] imaginethetruth  (M. Willoughby)
Fandom: due South
Characters/Pairings: Fraser/RayK
Rating/Warnings: R - mild NC17.  If slash isn’t your thing you might want to get out of here right about now.
Summary: Ray and Fraser make some interesting discoveries about each other on the slushy scene of the crime.  Tea also comes into play.
Disclaimer: All characters to Alliance, blahblahblah.  Sue me? I’ll kick you in the head.
Author’s Notes: Believe it or not, this story is actually based off of a dream I had *faints at memory*.  It was kind of weird though, because it was about me and Fraser, only I was Ray...which was odd, but totally cool.  I really want a dick now.  I had way too much fun writing this.

Love comments/feedback :)

Hey there!

I'm Marianne, but you might know me as [livejournal.com profile] imaginethetruth  on LiveJournal! I'm new to Dreamwidth, but I am oh so very excited to be here!

For those of you who don't know me, I'm a C6D (Canadian Six Degrees) fic writer. I specialize in all things Paul Gross and Callum Rennie, and I'm working on getting my Hugh Dillon "watched" list a whole lot longer.

I'm just eighteen, so I still have a lot to learn about writing.  I think fanfic writing is a really great invention/system/whatever because it gives you the opportunity to focus on your technique and interact with other writers.  I've been writing C6D for nearly a year now, and I love it.  I hope to continue for a very long time, but that sort of all depends on you guys.

I mean, if I wanted to write purely for myself, I could do that and not put it up.  The reason why I even post half of this stuff is because I love hearing what you have to say, whether it's complimentary or constructively critical.  Really, I'm all ears as long as you aren't TOO harsh.  When I read fic, I always scan the comments afterwords.  I often see really sweet stuff, and I'm like, "Oh, I wish people would comment my fic!"

I'm still relatively new to this, and there's a lot about LJ and DW that I don't know.  Perhaps that's why I'm still kind of an unknown.  There are a few people who sort of regularly read my writing (though most of them are my friends haha), and I love them for it, but it would be nice to get even more feedback.  It's encouraging as a writer to read your comments! When I post something, I always think: "I wonder how they'll respond to this new story! I'm so excited to see what people think."

So, if you read something of mine (there will be a lot on here in the future), please, please, PLEASE, head on down to the comments section and add your own thoughts.  If you see something wrong with a fic (typo, grammar error), LET ME KNOW so I can fix it!

Alright, I'll stop this now.  Come stop by my LJ: imaginethetruth.livejournal.com - I have some fic up there!

Much love,
Marianne
